With our stage 1 remap for the Audi S3 if your budget allows its ideal to add some breathing mods this will essentially give you a stage 1+ tune which will help the 2.0 tfsi engine breathe more efficiently allowing the ECU to target more boost and ignition timing. You'll find a handful of folks with the 3.0 TDIs (Q5/7, A6/7/8, Toaureg), but they all seem to be elated. The ZF 8-speed seems to be able to hold a lot of power, so shouldn't have to worry too much about other components. Plus much of the TDI components are beefed up to handle the torque.

Reaction score. 11. Points. 18. Jun 18, 2018. #6. I’m also considering a remap of my 2010 A4, standard bhp is 211 but remap will give it 258 and increase torque from 350 to 400. Like the OP I’ve never remapped a car before and I’m concerned about putting extra stress on the engine etc.
